Assistant Director of Programs (Full-Time) will be responsible for executing and coordinating all company programs, including True Colors: Out Youth Theater and our new community-based theater initiative, Out In Your Neighborhood. Strong candidates will have a solid background in theater and education with proven teaching and directing experience and knowledge of national and international theater trends and best practices. Development Assistant (Part-Time) to support the Development Manager in the administrative implementation of all development initiatives including an outrageous $200K fundraising event in the Spring. INTERNSHIPS AT THE THEATER OFFENSIVE

Opportunities may combine several of the following areas:
- Arts programming and administration
- Community outreach & grassroots networking
- Education & LGBTQ youth
- Event production for LGBTQ youth
- Grant writing, development and fundraising
- Guerrilla street theater
- Marketing, advertising and graphic design
- Office administration

Internships are unpaid, but interns receive academic credit if desired and are eligible for invitations to free tickets at area shows, cast parties, artist receptions and visiting artist workshops. Interns may also qualify for one-of-a-kind job/school recommendations, professional referrals, community networking and organizational resources.
Applications are accepted year round on a rolling basis for 10-40 hours/week, with a one-month minimum commitment. Availability during standard business hours is preferred; some evening/weekend work possible. Experience with LGBTQ and racially diverse urban communities is a plus. LGBTQ people of color are strongly encouraged to apply.

BE A VOLUNTEER AT THE THEATER OFFENSIVE
Usher, distribute flyers, take photos and videos, help backstage, or pitch in at the office during the day in our marketing, development, artistic or administrative departments. Regular or intermittent weekday and weekend slots, day or evening (depending on the project) year round. You determine your commitment level, and we work with you to find volunteer tasks that you'd enjoy and that put your time to good use.
